"The bottle in the tasting unfortunately had a bad cork and the wine was off. In the interest of offering a representative note, here is one from a bottle opened at the big de Vogue tasting covered in Issue 20: A monumentally spicy nose of stunning breed and complexity leads to medium-full, beautifully delineated yet velvet-textured flavors that offer incredible length that just goes on and on. The richness and elegance are nothing short of phenomenal and this is in incredible condition for a 35+ year old wine and if well-stored, should continue to hold without difficulty.
