Attributed to Christophe Huet (Pontoise 1700-1759 Paris)

The same species of bird is represented in another bodycolour study by Huet, similar in style and technique, which was with Laura Pecheur, Paris (Dessins Anciens: Dessins Modernes, Spring 2011, no. 4).
