專家說明
Claude-Louis Burgat maître in 1744.
Although the CL.BG stamp has traditionally been associated with Clement Bergez, the presence of both 'CL.BG' and 'BURGAT' stamps on a pair of fauteuils sold Christie's London, 11 June 1989, lot 48 has established that it was in fact Claude Burgat who used this monogram as well as his name. These chairs are related in form to the pair stamped by Burgat from the Von Hirsch collection, sold at Sotheby's London, 23 June 1978, lot 614.
