專家說明
The pencil inscription 'Cocking' may refer to Robert Cocking, 'chair and candlebox maker' who worked as apprentice to Joseph Tyson (d. 1803) at Gillows in 1797. Tradesmen's names are often signed in pencil on early 19th century pieces made by the firm.
