Marked Sazikov with the Imperial warrant, St. Petersburg, 1874, inner border of frame indistinctly marked, apparently Cyrillic 'IS', St. Petersburg, vestments indistinctly marked, apparently Cyrillic '?S'
Rectangular, realistically painted, the Mother of God holding the Christ child, his right hand raised, the oklad with engine-turned sunburst pattern, their vestments engraved, their applied haloes with cut-out borders, the border champlevé enamelled with bands of geometric ornament in red, blue and turquoise, alternating with stylized flowerheads in translucent red, marked on frame, border, and okladtogether with an icon of St. Dimitrii of Saloniki, the oklad marked Sazikov, St. Petersburg, 1875, the painted panel later, dated 1953
