The first vase of elongated ovoid form with rounded shoulder, applied tapered neck and with a yellowish-brown patina, decorated in copper, silver, gilt and shakudo takazogan with a kingfisher in flight above blossoming iris; the second vase (illustrated) of elongated ovoid form with applied flat shoulder, short neck and upright rim with a brown patina, decorated in copper, silver, gilt and shakudo takazogan with an egret beneath blossoming iris looking on at two others in flight; each with incised signature on base
