A CHIPPENDALE HIGHLY FIGURED MAHOGANY TILT-TOP TABLE

The mahogany top of this table is exceptional for its vibrant graining and large size while its urn-turned pedestal and expertly carved ball-and-claw feet illustrate the regional preferences of coastal Massachusetts and Boston during the latter eighteenth century.
