SMCRV 18''' nickel-finished lever movement, 22 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer five minute divisions, blued steel spade hands, two subsidiary dials indicating 30 minutes register and constant seconds, circular plain case, engraved coat-of-arms to the hinged back, split seconds chronograph mechanism operated through a button in the band and through the crown, case and cuvette numbered, dial signed, movement signed and numbered

專家說明

According to the Archives of Audemars Piguet, the movement of the present watch was manufactured in 1904 and numbered 9549. In 1912 it was upgraded to a calibre SCRCV 18''' and sold to a gentleman in Geneva.

The coat-of-arms, engraved in taille douce manner, are those of the Kern family. For a biography see www.dhs.ch.
