專家說明
With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1961 and its subsequent sale on 22 November 1961.
Always been treated with respect, this rare find is preserved in attractive overall condition and has not been subject to careless polishing. With time, the highly unusual silvered dial has taken an attractive off-white patina, the hard enamel signature and scales are still beautifully raised.
The present watch is understood to be one of only five examples ever offered publicly of a reference 130, all case materials united, featuring such a silvered dial and Breguet numerals. Given its date of manufacture, it is obvious that the currently mounted dial was added by a connoisseur aiming to lend his "one-thirty" a more spectacular look.
