According to the Archives of Blancpain, the present watch was manufactured in 1992.

Minute repeating wristwatches are amongst the rarest specialities of 20th century watchmaking due to the extremely difficult task of reducing the size of the repeating mechanism to fit into a case of wearable proportions. In 1988, Blancpain introduced one of the most complex and smallest minute repeating movements ever produced. This exceptional movement - the slimmest in the world - made Blancpain a specialist in the crafting of these masterpieces.
