專家說明

"As soon as the signal had been given, Colonels Dixon and Fraser embarked in the ordinance boat in place of our Lieutenant Governor, now Lieutenant-General Gibbs who was prevented by indisposition from paying his homage to the Queen. As soon as the Royal Yacht had been anchored in the bay, these gentlemen were courteously received by Lord Adolphus Fitzclarence, and introduced by his lordship to Earl Spencer, the Lord Chamberlain. On the appearance of Prince Albert, they were presented to his Royal Highness who made many inquiries as to the time of landing, the program of the cortège, and the distance to be run over. Her Majesty was most graciously pleased to honour with an audience the Bailly, Colonels Dixon, Fraser, Le Couteur and Le Breton".
