專家說明

Charles William Burt is listed as a cabinet-maker and upholsterer at 9 Strand, Torquay, Devon 1838. The label 'BURTS, CABINET MAKER & UPHOLSTERY MANUFACTURER, TORQUAY' was recorded on a Regency rosewood and marble-topped table with anthemion pillars, probably the same Charles William Burt (see G. Beard and C. Gilbert, Dictionary of English Furniture Makers 1660 - 1840, Leeds, 1986, pp. 134 and 136).
