Trunk-shaped, on four ball feet, reeded lower and upper rim, the front side engraved with two medallions enclosing pairs of lovers, the two short sides each engraved with one medallion depicting a couple, the back side engraved with birds amongst flower scrolls, the hinged domed cover engraved with a medallion enclosing a pair of lovers and inscribed getrout tot in den dood, overhead swing handle, one ball foot loose, marked on base
