專家說明

Elements of this chimneypiece are photographed in the Saloon at Althorp circa 1909. It was probably removed in the 1930s when most of the architectural mouldings including chimneypieces were removed from Spencer House to Althorp by Albert Edward John, 7th Earl Spencer (1892-1975), and replaced by that from the Ball Room in Spencer House.
