With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1997 and its subsequent sale on January 8th of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 5080 from 1996 until approximately 2002. It is known in both stainless steel only and stainless steel and gold examples.

Reference 5080 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by O. Patrizzi, vol. II, plate 1233, p. 303.
