專家說明

Typical of the Barocchetto Genovese, this type of cream and polychrome-decorated writing table delicately painted with floral motifs, was popular in mid-18th century Genoa and Liguria. Their understated elegance and delicate bomb shapes reflect the strong influence France had on the Republic of Genoa throughout the 18th Century. Related decorated writing tables are illustrated in L. Canonero, Barocchetto Genovese, Milano, 1962, pp. LXIV and LXXII.
