拍品 2944 Barely 60 years of age, F.P. Journe has been lauded as a visionary watchmaker. His novel creative approach is that beauty begins from,outside in, rather than from within. Hence, Journe begins by designing the dial of the watch and then constructing the internal heart of the watch accordingly. Despite its growing popularity, Journe remains resolutely independent, producing less than a thousand timepieces annually, focusing on creating uniquely complicated timepieces that push the boundaries of high watchmaking. Attention to detail is integral to this boutique watchmaker, a characteristic of value to our Collector. Many of the F.P. Journe timepieces in his discerning collection have been selected for their distinctive elements from the use of mother-of-pearl on the dial to the zodiac indication.
