專家說明

Although previously attributed to du Paquier, it is now thought that cups of this type were made elsewhere, although a satisfactory attribution has yet to be discovered. The present lot is of a larger size than the Oriental originals. A similar example was sold in these Rooms on 12th June 1995, lot 304. A Chinese libation cup of similar form, with Schwarzlot decoration attributed to Ignaz Preissler was in the Adalbert von Lanna Collection sold by Lepke, Berlin, 9-16th November 1909, lot 1736, pl. 103.
