專家說明

Louis Recordon (active 1778 - 1824) was a Swiss born clock and watchmaker, working also as the London agent for Abraham-Louis Breguet. Recordon is renowned for his high quality watches, the movements often featuring the same characteristics as those of Breguet, such as the present watch, from whom he also imported ébauches.

The cases of this watch are stamped JLJ for Jean-Louis Joly and with Paris hallmarks. The renowned case maker located in Paris supplied his exceptional cases to the most famous watchmakers of the time, notably Breguet.
