專家說明

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with "Empire"-style case and enamel dial with Roman numerals in 1912 and its subsequent sale on 22 December 1927. It furthermore states that the original case was replaced by the present one bearing number 292'689 during a servicing in the firm's workshops in 1929.

"Gondolo" watches with Empire-style case are exceedingly rare. To date, only seven examples of this particular model are known to exist but only three, including the present watch, without the subsidiary seconds dial.
