專家說明

Lee Johnson considered this portrait to be Delacroix's first work done in pastel, and dates it to the summer of 1825 when the young artist was in England. It was one of about twenty works later given by Delacroix to his devoted housekeeper, Jenny Le Guillou (1801-1869), who had worked for him since 1835.
