Of oval bellied form on foliate pedestal foot, and cover with wheat-sheaf crest finial, one side engraved with coat-of-arms, the other with presentation inscription; together with Minutes of the Proceedings of the committee appointed to present the Reverend Joseph Cook, A.M., with a service of plate as a memorial of respect, 1835, 4to., manuscript record book, 26 leaves, headings with penwork figures, straight-grained green morocco gilt by Davison of Alnwick, front cover lettered with title, Cook's Newton Hall bookplate
