Circle of Hans Raphon (Northeim or Einbeck, Lower Saxony ?-1512 ?)

We are grateful to Mr. Ludwig Meyer for noting that this panel was painted at the beginning of the sixteenth century in Lower Saxony, near Göttingen. Meyer proposes that it may be by an artist in the circle of Hans Raphon, to whom the wings of an altarpiece formerly in the Jakobkirche, Einbeck (now in the Landesmuseum, Hanover) are attributed.
