Attributed to Johann Georg Platzer (St. Paul in Eppan, near Meran 1704-1761 St. Michael in Eppan)

Sold with a copy of a certificate from Dr. Christina Pucher, dated September 1994, in which she suggests that the handling of the paint, physiognomy of the figures and details eg. the rug, are all typical of Platzer. She suggests that the signature has been strengthened at a later date.
