Mr. Zhou Cida, a native from Guangzhou, later immigrated to Macau due to social and political instability, running a printing business. Owing to his connections with people in the art circle, Zhou by chance met painters from the Lingnan School - Gao Jianfu, Gao Qifeng, Zhao Shao'ang, who later gifted Zhou with their paintings as a sign of their friendship.
