Ruled in red throughout, ornamental initials, woodcut illustrations, series of blank leaves inserted in vol. 1 and 2, two leaves from an earlier Bible bound in at end of vol. 2, one of the leaves remargined to size (lacking *ii and the index of Hebrew names [A-H8], some light browning and a few stains). 18th-century red morocco gilt by Le Gascon with arms and initials of Antoine de Sève [Olivier 683, fer 2 and 3] on sides, raised bands, spine divided in 6 compartments, one lettered, the others decorated in gilt, gilt edges (extremities lightly rubbed).
