Tasting Note: This has one of the highest percentages 87 of Cabernet Sauvignon ever seen in the Grand Vin at Château Latour, for 2005 was a very great vintage for that grape, in the Médoc. In colour, very deep purple, with spectacularly rich, openly spicy aromas. The wine is richly structured, broadly built, intensely fruity, with sustained flavours and succulent, mouth-coating tannins. A. H.
