專家說明
The design for this coffee service reflects Georg Jensen's early training in the workshop of noted Arts and Crafts silversmith Mogens Ballin (1871-1914). In 1901 Jensen joined the Ballin workshop, founded in Copenhagen in 1900, as a journeyman though he was quickly promoted to foreman. Jensen stayed with Ballin until he opened his own shop in 1904, and his earliest designs show Ballin's influence using semiprecious stones and modelling naturalistic forms included stylised fruit, flowers and insects.
