Oval and on spreading foot, the foot and rim each with quatrefoil border, the sides pierced with latticework and with a Prince-of-Wales feather within a garter at each end, with an overhead swing handle, engraved with the Royal arms with a label for difference within the Garter motto and with the Royal crown above, marked underneath and on handle, the base further stamped 'R. & S. GARRARD PANTON ST. LONDON'
