Ignacio de Leon y Escosura (Spanish, 1834-1901)

A student of Federico du Madrazo, he settled in Paris and later gained a second class medal in Madrid and London. He was made a Knight of the Order of Charles III and Commander of the Order of Isabelle The Catholic.
