Circle of Alessandro Bonvicino, called Moretto da Brescia (Brescia c. 1492-1554)

We are grateful to Dr Luisa Vertova Nicolson, who confirms that the artist is likely to have been trained between Bergamo and Brescia and suggests that the panel may have been from the parapet of an organ, used to protect the seat of an organist.
