專家說明
Christoffel Pierson was a student of Bartholomaus Meyburgh, with whom he traveled to Germany; he established himself in Gouda in 1654. Apart from a period of activity in Schiedam he remained there for the rest of his career. In 1695, Pierson, who was known as a glass-painter as well as a painter of portraits and still lifes, restored the famous windows of the church in that city.
