The later arched slightly shaped rectangular bevelled plate within a frame carved with strapwork and flowerheads on a pounced ground, with a scrolling part-gadrooned cresting centred by a rockwork clasp, the waved apron with a scallop shell, restorations to decoration, regilt, previously with candlearms
47¾ in. x 21 in. (121 x 53.5 cm.)

Probably acquired by Ralph Knight (d. 1768), for Langold, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, and thence by descent to his sister
Elisabeth Knight, at Nettleworth, Notts, and to her son
Henry Gally Knight, husband of Selina FitzHerbert, and to his son
Henry Gally Knight (1786-1846), who bequeathed Nettleworth, together with the manors of Warsop and Sookholme, to his cousin
