The rectangular top above a hinged fall-front decorated with a central urn issuing floral and foliate sprays with birds within a chequer and scrolling foliate inlaid border, the interior fitted with a central arched cupboard and an arrangement of six pigeon holes, four drawers, a concealed drawer and a well with slide, below a series of four long graduated drawers of serpentine outline, similarly decorated, on later ebonised bun feet
