專家說明
With IWC original sales tag, blank Guarantee, instruction booklet, original fitted presentation box and outer cardboard packaging. The present watch appears to be in new old stock condition and is still retaining the protective plastic label to the case back.
The "Die grosse Fliegeruhr" or "Big Pilot's Watch" was introduced into the market in 2002 and has been one of IWC's flagship models ever since. The IWC-manufactured 51111 calibre is one of the largest automatic movements in the world and contains all features that have proved their worth in the long history of IWC mechanical watches. Within no time at all, the automatic movement generates a power reserve of 8.5 days, but only runs for seven before an ingenious mechanism automatically stops it. This is because the torque that drives the movement decreases as the mainspring winds down, leading to a loss of amplitude in the balance and the unacceptable possibility of inaccuracy.
