Charles Frederick von Brocktorff (1755-1850)

The Danish born artist Charles Frederick von Brocktorff, became one of the leading illustrators and recorders of Malta during the first half of the 19th century and heads a family of painters, lithographers and cartographers that were prominent in their field for about 100 years.
