Twenty-three butterflies, in three columns, all belonging to the family NYMPHALIDAE, including Melanitis constantia (subfamily SATYRINAE, 1,2), and a number of milkweeds (DANAINAE, e.g. the Monarch Danaus plexippus 9,10; D. affinis philene 16,17; Euploea leucostictos 7,8,18,19; E. treitschkei 11-15, and E. algea 22,23) Thirty-one butterflies, in four columns, all belonging to the family NYMPHALIDAE, including members of subfamily LIMENITINAE (Euthaliopsis aetion 2-6; Dichorragia ninus 17,18; Terinos tethys 31), CHARAXINAE (Prothoe australis 25,26,29,30 -- cf. lot 45; Polyura jupiter 27,28), APATURINAE (Apaturina erminea 9,10), and NYMPHALINAE (Hypolimnas alimena 1,2; Doleschallia noorna 7,8,23,24; D. dascylus 11-15,19,20; D. hexopthalmos 21,22) Twenty butterflies, in three columns, all belonging to the family NYMPHALIDAE, including Melanitis leda (subfamily SATYRINAE, 18,19), Melanitis amabilis (5,6), Morphopsis albertisi (MORPHINAE, 14, 15), and a number of 'crows' belonging to the genus Euploea (DANAINAE, e.g. 16,17; E. phaenareta 1-4, 8-13)

Three of the species illustrated on the third sheet are crepuscular. Of these dusk flyers, the two Melanitis are common, but Morphopsis albertisi is considered rare, and is a notable inclusion.
