The moulded rectangular top above a drawer carved with two sunken demi-lune panels with two corinthian column legs, enclosing a slide with later gilt-tooled blue leather writing-surface, enclosing pigeon-holes, above two curved panels centred by a corinthian pilaster, the right side fitted with three drawers, the left side with three faux drawers acting as a hinged-door enclosing sixteen square pigeon-holes, on shaped bracket feet, later metalwork, the sides of the frieze drawer repalced, restorations and replacements to veneers and mouldings
