專家說明
The drawing from which this counterproof was made is in the British Museum (P. Rosenberg and B. Brejon de Lavergnée, Panopticon italiano: un diario di viaggio ritrovato 1759-61, Rome, 1986, p. 413, no. 323, pl. LII). Fragonard spent nearly three weeks in Genoa from 21 August to 10 September 1761. Palazzo Durazzo, later known as the Palazzo Reale, held an exceptional collection of paintings, including works by Veronese, Rubens, Van Dyck and Castiglione of which Fragonard also made drawings during his time in the city.
