專家說明

For another bottle with the same initials and date in the Castle Museum, Norwich, see Lipski and Archer, ibid., no. 1370. The initials are allegedly those of Edward Woodyard, grocer of Norwich, however there other possibilities in the Company records including Edward Woobridge, listed as a Freeman in 1648 and an Edward Wood who married a Mary Leversham in 1623.
A polychrome example with the same arms and dated 1652 was in the Harland Collection, Sotheby's London, 11th February 1931, lot 75.
