Painted with Charles II in blue with manganese hair, his coronation robes, crown and sceptre enriched in ochre, his crown flanked by the initals CR, standing on a hatched pavement with a lion behind his feet, flanked by two stylised two-tiered trees within a double blue line and yellow border and blue-dash rim, the footrim pierced for hanging and the underside with a buff slip and lead glaze, some slight glaze damage to centre, a chip to underside of rim at 6 o'clock and other small rim chips and flaking
