Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1955 and its subsequent sale on 20 December 1955.

This watch has never been offered in public before and is one of less than 15 examples of reference 2553 in yellow gold to appear in public to date.

Production of reference 2553 was launched in 1953. It is illustrated in Die schönsten Armbanduhren vergangener Jahrzehnte by Giampiero Negretti/Franco Nencini, p. 217.
