Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the movement of the present watch in 1929. It was completed and encased in 1935 and sold on 17 September 1938 with a silvered dial and enamel hour markers.
Never offered in public before, the rarity of this unusual watch, fitted with the highly attractive "sector" or "aviator" dial, is further enhanced by the retailer signature, Walser, Wald & Cia., Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of Patek Philippe's most prominent retailers in South America.
Reference 652 was introduced into the market in the mid 1930s and was available with subsidiary seconds as well as with sweep centre seconds.
