專家說明
Catton is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England, and is situated between Thirsk and Ripon, on the River Swale. Thomas Frye was well established as a portraitist in England after he came to London from Dublin in 1735, quickly establishing a significant reputation for himself. Notably, at least seven other portraits of the Crispe family were painted by Frye, presumbaly commissioned by Henry Crispe.
