With nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, gyromax balance, champagne matte dial with baton numerals, circular case, all hinged within an 18k gold United States of America $20 coin, with the head of Lady Liberty to the cover and dated 1904, the bald eagle to the reverse, case, dial and movement signed

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1974 and its subsequent sale on December 3rd, 1979.

The present watch is one of approximately 20 examples of Patek Philippe coin watches known to the market. Patek Philippe produced coin watches between 1940 and 1980. They are known by both the reference number 802 and 803.
