the complete set of fifteen lithographs in colours, 1984-5, on Arches, with the stamped signature, numbered 10/50, printed by Charles Sorlier, with the Atelier blindstamp at the lower left sheet edge, with wide margins, each with a deckle edge, the colours fresh, in very good condition

專家說明

Chagall created these fifteen lithographs - his last - early in 1985. Once the edition had been completed at the end of March Charles Sorlier brought them to Chagall for signing. However, finding him too tired for the 800 signatures that were required he decided to bring them back after a few days. Unfortunately, Chagall passed away before he could return, and consequently the prints were stamp-signed instead.
