Etienne-Albert-Eugène Joannon (FRENCH, b.1857)

Joannon graduated from the Lyon School of Arts and soon after moved to Paris to continue his studies. The artist was well-received both in Lyon and Paris where he successfully exhibited from the early 1880's. In 1892 he became a member of the French Society of Artists, and in 1900 he was awarded a bronze medal at the prestigious Exposition Universelle.
