(51.5cm.) long; black lacquer ishime ribbed saya mounted with silver fittings carved with crashing waves, comprising: a trapezoidal tsuba, fuchi-gashira and a silver kirin menuki, Goto-school shakudo nanako-ji kozuka with scenes of the Genpei wars in iroe taka-zogan, frame gold, attributed to Kenjo, blade signed Mino Fujiwara Kaneyuki, 19th century
