The cup of beaker form with flared lip, on three ball feet, engraved with a fruiting vine, a rabbi seated at a table, studying a holy book, a dining room with a table set for the Sabbath meal including bread, fish and a lit candelabrum, a chandelier overhead and a Hebrew inscription for the blessing for wine, the detachable cover forming the spice box which in turn has a cover with ball finial, the cover secured by a small clasp & engraved around the rim with the Hebrew blessing for spices & a flowering branch
