The pair of sofas was sold by The Lord Bruntisfield, M.C., in these Rooms, 23 May 1963, lot 66 and offered anonymously, in these Rooms, 10 July 2003, lot 125. The pair of broad wing armchairs was sold anonymously, in these Rooms, 30 June 1977, lot 31A and subsequently illustrated in L. Synge, Mallett Millennium, London, 2000, pp. 100-103.
